Connect Sunsei to your AI assistant
Use Sunsei's solar power forecasts straight from an AI assistant. The Sunsei MCP server is a remote Model Context Protocol server that exposes the Sunsei forecast API as tools, guided workflows and reference resources that Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, GitHub Copilot and any other MCP-capable client can call in conversation.
Connect to Sunsei MCP
Endpoint: https://mcp.sunsei.ai/mcp (MCP over streamable HTTP)
Authentication: your own Sunsei API key, sent as a request header. The server stores no credentials of its own — every request is forwarded to Sunsei with your key, so you only ever see your own account's data and rate limits.
| Header | Value |
|---|---|
Authorization | Bearer <your-sunsei-api-key> |
x-api-key | <your-sunsei-api-key> (raw key, no prefix) |
Either header works. Don't have a key yet? Get API access.
